Treatment Prices & Information

For your convenience Helping Hands Veterinary Physiotherapy provides a mobile service. Initial assessments, including treatment, usually take between 1 – 1.5 hours, subsequent treatments are usually 45-60 minutes.

All prices for the initial assessment include video gait analysis and client report. On average it takes between three to four sessions to resolve the initial issue, and establish a baseline for improvement. Three to six monthly checkups are advised to maintain health and suppleness, and to detect subtle problems before they manifest as resistances. Weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or bi-monthly appointments are available for maintenance of a chronic condition or age related issues.

VETERINARY REFERRAL

It is a legal requirement that anyone treating an animal must have veterinary permission to do so.  Where an animal shows symptoms which may require veterinary attention (i.e. obvious signs of lameness or illness), it may be necessary to delay treatment until veterinary advice has been sought.

A vet referral form is available here.

For cases (any animal) requiring more regular treatments i.e. equine tendon or ligament injury or canine/feline neurological disorder, an individual pricing structure will be discussed.  In many cases veterinary physiotherapy will be included in your animals insurance.

For visits to multiple animals at one location a discount may be available, please call.

On the day of your appointment, please ensure that your animal is clean and dry to allow for accurate assessment of musculature.

Unless otherwise arranged, all treatment must be paid for on the day.

All travel costs within 20 miles of DE65 are included within the consultation fee.
